We have taken him on walks in the Funny Crab Rangoon T Shirt in addition I really love this woods… he sniffs the air and gets visibly excited when he sees chipmunks, squirrels or other rodents. When he sees a herd of rabbits he whimpers and strains at the leash in an agony of frustration, as if to say “C’mon, let me off the leash! I’ll only kill most of them…” The only time we have actually seen him kill an animal was when there was a peculiarly irritating fly in our apartment. I have caught my chickens eating field mice several times. That is one reason, I don’t put poisons out in or around the barn. Even documented pack hunting behavior exhibited by them once. They surrounded a burrow, and systematically blocked and continued excavating the tunnels. Who said chickens are stupid??? They just can’t figure out how to catch one before it runs under a gap by posting sentries on the other side:) of the barn. Moved a stack of tin to side a roof, Mice had made an extensive network of tunnels underneath. Long story short, moved the tin, they gobbled up the nest of babies, and played keep away with the mommy mouse. Eventually, one gobbled her down whole. My thoughts are it can’t hurt unless they are poisoned. They are after all, omnivores. No different in chickens eating mice than by any other winged predators. Good riddance! Don’t choke, and free range all the mice you want.
Anyone who thinks they don’t eat mice, I’ll be happy to send them pics not only of mice, but chipmunks, baby rabbits, snakes, frogs (pecked it to death), crayfish… a fair fare game. How’s this for revenge? A weasle I hacked into two pieces trying to get under the Funny Crab Rangoon T Shirt in addition I really love this buried chicken wire. They dug it out, and left the furry parts. Of course not. You probably don’t care about your pet rat at all if you are thinking of Making his last hours on Earth terrifying instead of comfortable. And you run the risk of your cat Getting sick or even dying by eating a creature who is in ill health. Cleaner than cats, bond with you as strongly as a dog does, and can be trained to do lots of clever tricks, as well as to use a litter tray. You could feed mice, but why? I considered off and on for years, buying a few white mice for my indoor kitties to catch and enjoy, but nixed the idea every time for a few reasons.
