Certainly. When I was a journalism major, we were taught how to be objective and were graded on our ability to be so. We were taught to keep straight news unbiased and factual. We were allowed to inject our own personalities only in opinion or fluff pieces. The problem I see today is that too many people can’t distinguish between opinion and straight news.
